CJSC «Korosten Porcelain» was formed on the basis of the small producers’ artel to the biggest producer of porcelain goods in Ukraine, the products of which are being exported both in Ukraine and abroad.

The vast variety of goods includes a wide range of sets, dinner coffee and tea services and souvenir present items.

Closed Joint Stock Company «Korosten Porcelain» was set up in 1994, on the basis of the former Korosten Porcelain Plant, the development of which has begun since 1904 year.

The main production line is porcelain ware and goods of porcelain, gifts and presents by special orders. Creative teamwork of our staff enables efficient satisfaction of the customers’ requests both in Ukraine and abroad and allows to introduce fresh models into the production. We constantly strive to upgrade and expand our assortment being on the look out for new forms and decorative patterns.

The first records of creating of the plant are dated 1908 (copy of bulletin Ukrfarforfayans #1/5, 07.11.1927, p.77-78) in the ''Ceramic industry of Russia'', edited by V.V. Urchanov, the date 1909 is mentioned. In accordance with another historical fact in one of Przhebylsky’s rooms, the owner of the plant, a bottle with a note of the following content was found: ''The laying a parquet floor in a room was finished by June 1, 1906 by Shtrayh Ivan Mikhayovich. Besides, the joinery work was completed too''.

The plant was destroyed during II World War. After being rebuilt the first output was produced in May 1, 1944. On the way to its present state the plant had to go through the post-war restoration, a number of reconstructions of the 1960s-70s, which were carried out while the enterprise continued to work.

Our products are being exported around CIS countries, Baltic countries, Germany, Israel and USA. 30% of the whole range of our products is being realized in the market of Ukraine.

The porcelain ware produced by our plant is considered to be competitive not only in Ukraine but abroad too. It is stipulated by a vast variety of goods, new forms and decorative patterns, which are in conformity with GOST 28390-89 ''Porcelain products. Specifications''.

Under the results of its activity «Korosten Porcelain» has been rewarded with ''Birmingham Torch'' for success in economic survival and development in the face of adverse conditions by decision of American People Ambassador Program, International Finance and Economic partnership Institute.

«Korosten Porcelain» was duly testified with approbation certificates of Ukrainian and foreign companies, prizes, honour certificates and awards, among which is ''The Arch of Europe'' in the golden nomination for Quality and Technique at the XXVII international convention, 2001.

«Korosten Porcelain» has also been rewarded by honour certificate ''Golden cluster of hop'', for success in production achievements in accordance with the decision of Presidium of Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine in Zhitomir region.
